Appraisal work-file review with a tamper-evident record of every check.
North Star runs an appraiser's work file against 360 published rules across FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional (Fannie + Freddie), HUD Multifamily, USPAP, ANSI, FEMA, Dodd-Frank, federal land acquisition, and Washington and Oregon state law. Every evaluation produces a cryptographic Decision Record that's offline-verifiable indefinitely — defensible years after the underlying transaction closes.

Justin Moriarty is the chief executive officer, appraisal subject-matter expert, and founder. A licensed appraiser in both Washington and Oregon with decades of Pacific NW field experience, he sets the company's strategic direction and brings the customer- relationship engine that makes the Pacific NW launch possible.
Darin Molnar, PhD is the chief technology officer, president, and founder. He built the rule engine, the audit chain, the web application, and this site. He owns the technical direction and is the customer-facing engineer for questions about the verification math or the system architecture.
